Kim Koch, Ph.D.

Senior Feed, Milling and Extrusion Specialist | Northern Crops Institute

Kim Koch is the Senior Feed, Milling and Extrusion Specialist at the Northern Crops Institute. Some of Kim's responsibilities in the role include: leadership for extrusion processing and milling technology, as well as a lead instructor for Preventive Controls courses for Human & Animal Foods. Kim is also a North Dakota State University Adjunct Faculty Member in the Animal Science Department. Kim has a Master of Science in grain science and industry as well as a Doctorate in grain science and industry from Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas.

Kim is a professional member of the following organizations: American Feed Industry Association, Cereal & Grains Association (Co-Chair of Pet and Livestock Food Division), American Oil Chemists Society, Trainer of Trainers and Lead Instructor for the FSPCA’s Preventive Controls for Animal and Human Food courses.
