Askegaard Organic Farm is a 6th generation family farm operated by Mark Askegaard & his daughter, Beth McConnon. The farm is located south of Moorhead, MN and encompasses approximately 980 tillable acres. The farm has been certified organic since 1997 and its primary crops grown are wheat, oats, flax, soybeans, and a variety of cover crops. The Askegaards mill and package their organic crops on-farm and distribute them to various outlets including retail grocery & food cooperatives, wholesale to institutions including schools, hospitals, and bakeries, and also direct-to-consumer.
